Role: Sourcing Engineer

Educational / Other Qualifications:
- BE / B Tech (Electrical/ Mechanical / Production) with relevant Industry experience
- Minimum 6 ~ 8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing of Electrical / electronics Parts & proprietary parts.
- Experience in construction equipment manufacturing is preferred.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Formulation of Commodity strategy including supplier management with measurable targets and performance monitoring.
- Map the supplier base risk management (financial, capacity, performance) & find opportunities for new vendors.
- These activities include supporting the strategic procurement process, execution of domestic / overseas supplier agreements to include negotiations, supplier selection, development, and contract management.
- Within an assigned commodity, this position is responsible for managing and defining the procurement process of necessary components in a timely, economical, and efficient manner in order to meet enterprise goals.
- Working with engineering and project management team to make sure that sourcing activities correspond to project needs.
- Support to supplier quality assurance team for continuous improvements on quality from supplier.
- Support to call off team for delivery concerns for defined commodity
- Goals are met by implementing and maintaining effective relationships with current Commodity/Category suppliers as well as developing new supply sources within their designated area.
- You will coordinate activities with supply-chain, logistics, operations and finance personnel in efforts to meet supply and demand goals..
